Code Training Camp with Saranen

Nordic Semiconductor Development Kits are a great help in educational hands-on sessions
Code Training Camp organized by Saranen is in-service training which concentrates into coding in embedded systems. Along with theory lectures, there are also plenty of hands-on sessions. Practical exercises are a benefit in real working life tasks. Educators from iProtoXi Oy are using Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 DK’s and Thingy:52 IoT Sensor Kit’s in hands-on rehearsal tasks. Aistin IoT Sensor products developed by iProtoXi relies on Nordic Semiconductor chip series.

nRF52840 DKDevelopment kit

Bluetooth 5, Bluetooth mesh, Thread and Zigbee development kit for the nRF52840 SoC

The nRF52840 DK is a versatile single-board development kit for Bluetooth 5, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, Zigbee, 802.15.4, ANT and 2.4 GHz proprietary applications on the nRF52840 SoC. It also supports development for the nRF52811 SoC.

It facilitates development exploiting all features of the nRF52840 SoC. It includes an NFC antenna that quickly enables utilization of the NFC-A tag peripheral. All GPIOs are available via edge connectors and headers, and 4 buttons and 4 LEDs simplify input and output to and from the SoC.

Compact multi-sensor prototyping platform

The Nordic Thingy:52™ is an easy-to-use prototyping platform, designed to help in building prototypes and demos, without the need to build hardware or even write firmware. It is built around the nRF52832 Bluetooth 5 SoC.

All sensors and actuators can be configured over-the-air using Bluetooth Low Energy. It makes it possible to create demos and prototypes without starting from scratch. It connects to Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled smart phones, tablets, laptops and similar devices, and it sends/receives data from/to its sensors/actuators to an app or cloud. It includes an NFC antenna, and has 1 button and 1 RGB LED that simplifies input and output.
